How to get here

By bus

The Museum is a 15-20 minute walk from the main bus station (Chester Bus Interchange). From the cross, walk down Bridge Street and at the traffic lights, turn right onto Grosvenor Street and the Museum is on the left.

By train

The Museum is 20 minutes away from Chester Railway Station. Take the shuttle bus from directly outside the station entrance to the city centre. ( Ticket £1). The Museum is then a 15 minute walk from the bus stop.

By car

The nearest public car park is The Little Roodee Coach and Car Park on Castle Drive, a 5 minute walk away from the Museum. There is a disabled parking bay outside the Museum

There is full independent access to the ground floor of the Museum where The History Hub is sited.

Refreshments

There is a small café at the museum offering hot and cold drinks, and small snacks. For something more substantial there are many cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby.
